Seen her live like 5 times, and it never gets old. This is one of my favorite performances of hers.
Music Favorites
One of the biggest pleasures in life, at least to me, is being recommended music by friends and strangers. Even if I don't end up liking it too much, I really tend to appreciate the recommendation. And when I actually like the music being recommended, I feel a sense of connection and joy.
I do realize that this warm feeling of human connection and of mutual understanding cannot ever be reproduced via a static one-to-many broadcast of music recommendations like the one below, but still, I am sharing some music that is dear to my heart, also because I would love if more people did this on their personal sites.
Assorted live music favorites
Such a nice rendition of an already beautiful song. Wish he was still alive. :(
Classical / Impressionist Piano
One each of my favorite composers :)
Guitars
Roughly ordered from calm to .. not calm. Buckethead is featured twice, because of his insane range of musical output.
Bucketheads guitar shredding is something else.
Irish / Flute
Such a beautiful song. The flutist is Alan Doherty, who also played the flute on the soundtrack of the Lord of the Rings movies.
Takeoff at the end ;-) (also, the whole album is top notch)
Meditative / Ambient / Downtempo
Less is more :)
My friend Marika played this when we were laying in the grass ontop of a hill, one summer night. Reminds me of all the good in my life :)
Life goal: See/hear CBL live at least once.
Psychedelic / Psychedelic-Rock stuff
Bass Music / Electronic
.. enough bass to rearrange your furniture :D
A live recording of a free-style improvised concert at the HR Giger Museum
This one tickles the brain. Use good headphones for the full effect :)
Dub / Reggae
Two of my favorite Bob Marley songs, back to back :)
A super relaxed dub mix
